Stara Zajezdnia (Old Depot) was founded in 1913, when a broad gauge tram line was launched in Kraków. At the beginning of the 1960s, when trams disappeared from the depot and the track were dismantled, its buildings were turned into bus workshops and warehouses.
From June 2012, Stara Zajezdnia functions as a restaurant and microbrewery. The Main Hall is a part of a legally protected architectural and construction complex, which was entered into the register of monuments in 1985 and the UNESCO world cultural and natural heritage list.
